Quick start

Scan one Linux server in two minutes. No account is needed, and nothing leaves the server.

Tested. kiyesi scan runs on Ubuntu 22.04, 24.04 and 26.04, as root and without root, in the build pipeline for every change.

Install the agent Coming soon

The install script arrives with the first release. It will install one file and add nothing else, and it will check the file’s signature first:

curl -fsSL https://get.kiyesi.dev/install.sh | sudo sh

Scan the server

sudo kiyesi scan

You get a grade from A to F, each problem in one sentence, and the command that fixes it. The scan changes nothing on the server.

Fix the first finding

Copy the fix shown under the finding, run it, and scan again. The grade goes up as findings clear.

Send results to the service (optional)

kiyesi connect links the server to the service, which keeps every scan. It scans every 15 minutes and masks secrets before anything is sent. See Connect a server.

sudo kiyesi connect --token [server token]

The dashboard to see every server in one place arrives in the next release. Until you connect, every scan stays on the server it ran on.
